Dr. Elad Ben-Meir, MD, is a pediatric pulmonologist at the Pediatric Pulmonology Unit at Hadassah–Hebrew University Medical Center in Jerusalem, Israel. He graduated from Tel Aviv University Faculty of Medicine and completed his pediatric residency at Sheba Medical Center. He subsequently completed a Pediatric Pulmonology fellowship at The Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids) in Toronto, Canada, followed by a research fellowship in cystic fibrosis at the SickKids Research Institute.
Dr. Ben-Meir’s clinical practice focuses on the care of children with complex respiratory diseases, including cystic fibrosis, primary ciliary dyskinesia and post-infectious bronchiolitis obliterans. His research interests center on the molecular and genetic mechanisms underlying chronic pediatric lung diseases, with a particular focus on airway inflammation, biomarkers, and translational research.
