Helena Pité, MD, PhD, is the Head of the Immunoallergy Department at CUF Tejo Hospital in Lisbon, Portugal, and an Associate Professor and Clinical Researcher at NOVA Medical School | Universidade NOVA de Lisboa. She holds a medical degree from the University of Lisbon and a PhD in Clinical Research (summa cum laude) from NOVA University of Lisbon. Prof. Dr. Pité serves as the Chair of the Asthma Interest Group of the Portuguese Society of Allergology and Clinical Immunology (SPAIC) and is the Co-chair of the World Allergy Organization (WAO) Skin Allergy–Urticaria Committee. She is an active member of several international scientific task forces, including those within the European Academy of Allergy and Clinical Immunology (EAACI) and European Forum for Research and Education in Allergies and Airway Diseases (EUFOREA). Her research focuses on rhinitis and asthma epidemiology and respiratory and cutaneous biomarkers across all paediatric and adult age groups. Prof. Dr. Pité has authored over several scientific publications and is a frequent speaker at major national and international medical congresses.
