Jean-Paul Praud

Jean-Paul Praud is a pediatric pulmonologist with expertise in pediatric sleep-disordered breathing and home ventilation since the 1980s, first in Paris (France), then at Sherbrooke University Hospital (Canada). Since 1993, he has been the regional director of the National Program on Home Ventilatory Assistance in the Sherbrooke region. In this position, he has been the primary physician for the respiratory care of children (0-18 years) and young adults (18-50 years) with various neuromuscular diseases. He has also extensively published numerous preclinical studies on all forms of non-invasive ventilation.
