Dr. Jagdish Prasad Goyal, MBBS, MD (Pediatrics), PG Diploma in Research Methodology, is a Professor of Pediatrics at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Jodhpur. He is a leading clinician and academic in Pediatric Pulmonology and Evidence-Based Medicine, with over two decades of experience across premier institutions including AIIMS Rishikesh, Govt. Medical College Surat, and PDU Medical College Rajkot. At AIIMS Jodhpur, he played a pivotal role in starting the first DM training program in Pediatric Pulmonology in Rajasthan, strengthening advanced pediatric respiratory care and training in the region.
Dr. Goyal received specialized training at AIIMS New Delhi and completed the prestigious RCPCH Visiting Fellowship at the Royal Brompton Hospital, London. An ERS Diplomat in Pediatric Respiratory Medicine, he also received the Dr. I.C. Verma Excellence in Research Award (2023). He served as Secretary of the Indian Academy of Pediatrics National Respiratory Chapter (2023–24).
He has authored over 150 publications and 10 book chapters, and reviews for major pediatric journals.
