Savvas Andronikou is professor of radiology at the University of Pennsylvania and is radiology faculty at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.
He is in dedicated paediatric imaging practice for over 25 years with a career spanning Southern Africa, the United Kingdom, Australia, the United States and Europe. Along with his more than 500 published general paediatric radiology papers he has also published numerus books and has completed 2 PhDs in paediatric neuroimaging. His major interest areas are imaging of tuberculosis and HIV, Sturge Weber, CRMO and mechanisms to promote research in paediatric radiology. For his contributions he has been awarded multiple times in South Africa as well as internationally on multiple occasions.
