Sushil Kr Kabra, MD, DNB is a senior pediatrician and Consultant in Pediatrics at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, where he previously served as Professor of Pediatrics. He is currently the Editor-in-Chief of the Indian Journal of Pediatrics.
Dr. Kabra’s research interests include cystic fibrosis, asthma, tuberculosis diagnostics, and acute respiratory infections. He has an exceptional academic record, with more than 705 peer-reviewed publications, 200 book chapters, 16 orations, and over 900 invited guest lectures. His work has received more than 12,000 citations, with an H-index of 54 and an i10-index of 340.
He is the author and editor of several landmark pediatric textbooks, including Essential Pediatric Pulmonology (4th edition), Essentials of Tuberculosis in Children (5th edition), AIIMS PICU Protocols (9th edition), and Case-Based Review of Pediatric Pulmonology (1st edition).
