Alessandro Amaddeo, is a pediatric pulmonologist working at the Institute for maternal and Child Health, IRCCS Burlo Garofolo in Trieste (Italy).
He worked for several years in France and has a matured experience and skills in paediatric pulmonology, with particular interested on acute and chronic respiratory insufficiency. His work is focused on sleep disordered breathing and on the treatment of chronic respiratory failure. He is currently involved on the development of national and international guidelines on long term pediatric mechanical ventilation.
