Prof. Kunling Shen, PhD, is a pediatric consultant and Professor at Beijing Children’s Hospital, Capital Medical University, and Director of the China National Clinical Research Center for Respiratory Diseases. She currently serves as President of the Pediatric Committee of the China Medicine Education Association and Honorary President of the Chinese Medical Association Society of Pediatrics. She is also Vice President of the Pediatrician Branch of the Chinese Medical Doctor Association and Head of the Sub-society of Pediatric Pulmonology of the Chinese Pediatric Society.
Professor Shen is a foreign member of the Royal Irish Medical Society and the Russian Academy of Sciences. She serves as Vice Chief Editor of Pediatric Pulmonology, Pediatric Allergy, Immunology and Pulmonology, Pediatric Infectious Disease Journal, Chinese Journal of Practical Pediatrics, and Chinese Journal of Contemporary Pediatrics, and is a member of the editorial boards of the Chinese Medical Journal (English edition), the Chinese Journal of Pediatrics, and more than ten other medical journals.
