Professor Robinson is the director of Respiratory and Sleep medicine at the Royal Children’s Hospital in Melbourne, Australia. He has a long standing interest in suppurative lung disease and has published extensively in areas of Cystic Fibrosis and Primary Ciliary Dyskinesia. His main area of interest is in imaging the lung and has described structural changes in PCD and developed a PCD specific scoring system for assessing structural changes seen on CT scans. Professor Robinson also heads the Respiratory drug trials unit at the Murdoch Children’s Research Institute which has participated in over 100 international interventive trials since its inception.
