Dr. Luca Bonadies is a neonatologist at the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, Department of Woman’s and Child’s Health, University of Padova, Italy. His clinical and research activity focuses on bronchopulmonary dysplasia (BPD) and the long-term respiratory outcomes of preterm-born individuals, from the neonatal intensive care unit through adolescence and adulthood. His work spans the prevention and pathophysiology of BPD, lung imaging and biomarkers, and novel preventive therapies for BPD prevention in preterm neonates. He has published extensively on prematurity and chronic lung disease of prematurity in leading international journals.
